El ministro de Educación, Nicolás Trotta, consignó que consideran no cobrar intereses por retrasos ante el freno que sufre la economía.
Tras la reunión con cuatro de las entidades que agrupan a las instituciones de educación privada en argentina, el ministro de Educación, Nicolás Trotta afirmó que están analizando qué medidas tomar para «dar respuesta a las familias» que no pueden afrontar el pago de las cuotas mensuales ante el freno de la economía por el coronavirus.
El titular de la cartera educativa consignó que están evaluando «la posibilidad de eliminar de la no concurrencia los aspectos extra programáticos que tienen las cuotas».
Sobre el pago a término de las cuotas en las escuela privadas, señaló que buscarán «establecer un proceso que implique no cobrar intereses a las familias que no estén en condiciones de pagar la cuota en este momento, proyectar pagos escalonados pero teniendo en claro que las cuotas son las que permiten que se sigan pagando los salarios de los docentes”.
«Estaremos presentando un conjunto de medidas que le darán respuestas a muchas familias que están en incertidumbre”, adelantó Trotta en comunicación con el medio Radio La Red.
Sobre las exigencias de algunas instituciones en el pago a término, Trotta exigió: “Es un momento de solidaridad y entender en qué situación está el otro. Debemos comprender la situación de cada una de las familias”.
En este sentido aseguró que desde el Ministerio establecerán «un plan de pago en donde no se cobren punitorios ni intereses”. También se refirió también a las familias que sí pueden afrontar los gastos mensuales de los colegios de sus hijos y les pidió que «sigan pagando la cuota» porque «es la manera que sigan cobrando los maestros y el personal de la escuela”.
Por otro lado, consultado sobre las vacaciones de invierno de 2020, consideró: “Es prematuro hablarlo, no tenemos la certeza de cuándo vamos a volver a clases de manera física”.
«No vamos a perder el año escolar. ¿Puede haber corrimiento de calendario? Puede haberlo. ¿Puede extenderse el año escolar? También” “Los créditos blandos a los que pueden acceder algunas empresas, las instituciones educativas privadas van a poder acceder a ellos”, determinó Trotta.
Sobre el regreso a la concurrencia escolar, aseguró el ministro: “Volver o no a clases es una decisión epidemiológica, no educativa”.
