Los dos negocios de comida rápida abonaron solo el 25% del monto de los sueldos de los empleados.
Mc Donald’s y Burger King, dos de las mayores cadenas de comida rápida del mundo, recortaron el salario de 600 empleados en Mar del Plata, entregándoles solo el 25% del mismo, en medio de la cuarentena obligatoria.
La medida, que afecta a siete comercios, fue denunciada por el Sindicato de Trabajadores Alfajoreros, Reposteros, Pizzeros y Heladeros (STARPyD), que comunicó que las empresas optaron por recortar los sueldos ante el cierre de los locales.
En este sentido, las firmas no están pagando las jornadas no trabajadas y el presentismo, y la decisión fue tomada sin siquiera dar aviso a los trabajadores, según explicaron desde el STARPyD.
“Liquidaron y abonaron los salarios correspondientes a marzo con drásticos e inexplicables recortes”, informaron desde el gremio, al mismo tiempo que anunciaron que enviaron cartas documento a las dos compañías.
Asimismo, evalúan la posibilidad de elevar un reclamo a las oficinas del Ministerio de Trabajo buscando que éste intervenga y las empresas mencionadas “paguen lo que corresponde.
Por su parte, a través de un comunicado que publicó la Cámara Argentina de Establecimientos de Servicio Rápido de Expendio de Emparedados y Afines, las firmas acusaron que “la industria se ha visto fuertemente golpeada por esta situación”.
Sin embargo, realizaron las firmas un descargo en el que aseguraron que cumplieron “con el compromiso de pago a cada uno de los empleados, pese al cese de tareas que obliga a mantener los locales cerrados”.
Al parecer, las empresas se escudaron en el artículo 6 del inciso B del Convenio Colectivo de Trabajo, que “contempla que, ante situaciones excepcionales, las jornadas de horas mínimas descritas pase de 60 a 48 horas mensuales».
Según indicaron las compañías, los salarios fueron abonados en tiempo y forma y es prioridad “el compromiso con la gente y su fuente laboral en este difícil momento que atravesamos por la pandemia”.
